Audacity
Audio Rearranging
This will be a quick tutorial explaining the function on Audacity that allows you to rearrange the order of the audio in the file.
First off you will need to open your file, or record a file. For beginners you open a folder by clicking the "File" button in the top ribbon, the click on "Open". To record you will need to go to the "File" button in the top ribbon, and then click on "New". After you have selected "New" you will have the click a record button and record the audio.
Now that you have that set up you can move on to rearranging the
audio. To do so you will need to move your cursor to the place you wish to start
selecting. From where you wish to start select drag until the spot on the audios
waves where you want it to end (The waves are the blue areas the appeared when
you recorded or opened your file).
After you have selected an area you will move your cursor over to the "cut" button, it looks like a pair of scissors and is located under the "file" button mentioned earlier. Next on the wave/audio file place and click your cursor on the spot you wish to move the audio you "cut" to. Then go back up to place where you selected the "cut" button, but this time you will need to select the "paste" button. The paste button looks like a clipboard. Continue doing this process as much as you wish until satisfied.
